A couple of years ago, my sister gave me an awesome slow cooker for Christmas. I had just pulled it out and started using it again when disaster struck. I placed it on our ceramic stove top, and I turned on the wrong burner this evening. The poor thing melted before I realized what I'd done. Sad!
