Day 353: Exhausted

I babysat for a friend tonight, and I was so exhausted after my week that I was grateful that I could just relax the whole evening.

Day 352: Walk through the park

This little park was right outside of our hotel, and I was able to take a morning walk before my meetings started.

Day 350: Times Square

My three day trip started with New York. Times Square is still there!

Day 349: Indian buffet

I am going out of town for a few days, so S and I decided to meet up for lunch near his office.  We had decent Indian buffet.

Day 348: Rowing shell on a trailer

You really don't see rowing shells being moved by a single bike, but there's a first time for everything.

Day 347: Annapolis

We decided to take a spur-of-the-moment trip to Annapolis.  The first thing we did (well, second after eating breakfast) was to take a boat cruise on the Cheseapeake.  It was fun.

Day 346: Virginia

Day 345: Worth the wait

I really, really wanted these strawberry wrapped candies.  I ordered them online and they arrived today. Yay!

We came home from swim lessons to find the landlord and handy man working on the roof.

Day 339: Waiting

Day 338: Bye bye, Chicago

After a very busy and fun trip, little A and I finally got on the plane back to DC.  Despite a very long delay that made both baby and mom cranky, we eventually made it home safely.

Day 337: Stop sign

This is a new stop sign that was just put up at an intersection that is very close to my parents' house.  It's a huge deal for the little town!

Day 336: Cousins

Day 335: Choo choo

We took the kids to a local train-themed restaurant that brings your food on a little train.  A was really excited when the train finally brought his grilled cheese.

Day 334: Breakfast with cousins

We made it to Chicago and celebrated by having breakfast out with the sister, cousins, and grandparents.  Fun!

Day 333: First haircut

A had his very first haircut in a barber shop today! He did great.

Day 332: Where runs the river?

This is a poster we have up in our kitchen.  Baby has memorized this poem already!

Day 331: Jai shree Krishna

Today was Janmashtami (Krishna's birthday), so we went to a celebration at the Hare Krishna temple.

Day 330: Little reader

The little guy is reading up a storm.  Okay, he's not yet really reading, but he is getting close.

Day 329: Little fireman

We went over to our local police station for a National Night Out event, which meant there was security and safety information, car seat checks, and entertainment for the kids.  A didn't like the clowns much but he was excited about getting to sit in the front seat of a fire truck.  I forgot my phone so didn't get any photos but here's the fireman once we got home.

Day 328: Scary

Day 327: Play date

We had a nice play date today with a mom and baby from my moms' group.  I neglected to take a photo of them while they were here, so I snapped this while they were going home!

Day 326: Car ride

We took a car ride out to College Park, MD to go to Ikea.  We went to a nice little South Indian restaurant first for dinner, and then we decided it was too late for Ikea.  But the food was definitely worth the drive.

Day 325: Seinfeld

S and I had a rare night out and went to the Kennedy Center to see Seinfeld.  It was a nice night, and as an added bonus, baby A was good for his sitter.

Day 324: Dinner out

We took a walk down to Connecticut Avenue for a quick dinner out.

Day 323: Breakfast in Chi-town

I went on a jaunt in the morning to one of my old haunts...breakfast at Wishbone is one of my favorite things to do in Chicago.
