Day 262: Train travel

A last minute train trip to New Haven was on the cards today.

Day 261: We two

I couldn't resist bringing him back downstairs for one more cuddle before bed.

Day 260: Lounging

It was a long, tiring day today...back to work/nanny, swim lessons, grocery shopping, relatives came over for dinner at the last minute.  Exhausted!

Day 259: Name tag

We attended a reception to welcome new members at our neighborhood club today. Fun!

Day 258: Fountain

On our way back from breakfast, we spotted a water wall and some fountains.  Baby A had loads of fun splashing around.

Day 257: Sightseeing

My friend from home was in town for the day, so we three showed her and her boyfriend around our fair city.  This was from the steps of the Capitol.

Day 256: Mulberry tree

I was walking back to my car after doing some shopping, and I found this mulberry tree.

Day 255: Broken

It's difficult to see, but this car on the right is one of three in a row that has its mirror broken due to the narrow road and poor drivers on this street up from our house.  I'm so glad we have a driveway!

Day 253: Wild strawberries

There are some wild strawberries growing right at our front steps.  They're not that tasty, from what I've heard.

Day 252: EOM

My colleague George won Employee of the Month for our department, and I traveled up to New Haven for a big celebration that was held in his honor.  My boss gave a speech, and we all wore bow ties.

Day 251: Twins

Day 250: Hold up

Whatever this thing is, it was being placed in the British Embassy and snared up our drive back home from the bus station this morning.

Day 249: Stunned

When I saw the envelope from the Department of Motor Vehicles,  I thought there was no way we had gotten a ticket.  And I was right.  It was actually a letter stating we had overpaid a ticket and were now due a refund.  Huh?

Day 248: Feast

My cousin's wife, my niece and I cooked a nice meal for their farewell dinner.  Here's my cousin patiently waiting for us to come eat.

Day 247: Space center visit

My cousins and niece from Malaysia are visiting, and we went out to the space center.  K and I went on the flight simulator!

Day 246: Motorcade

One of the hazards of living in DC is that one is occasionally held up in traffic due to governmental processions.  This was at the Vice President's residence, so I was speculating that he was on his way back home.

Day 245: Go car

We saw this little Go Car parked down the street the other day, and today, I came home from dropping off the little guy to find it being relocated right across the street from our house.

Day 244: Mother's Day

The two guys took me out for Mother's Day breakfast. I'm so lucky to have them.

Day 243: Plants

S and baby planted some seeds outside.  Here they're watering their little plants.

Day 242: Skype

A friend recently returned from a long trip, so we had a Skype chat to catch up.

Day 241: Thai food

We went out for Thai food for dinner...this was a bad photo of a wall hanging at the restaurant taken with S's phone.

Day 240: Big city

Another day in the big city. I had a great day attending a conference, doing some shopping, and having dinner with a friend I haven't seen in a while.

Day 238: Friends

My lovely friend Helen sent me this card! What fun it was to get this in the mail.

Day 237: Swimming

We all went swimming at our neighborhood pool. It was a big success.  Baby found the perfect shower for him.

Day 236: Mid sneeze

I caught the baby just as he was mid sneeze!

Another carousel! This one was just a couple blocks from our house at the Cathedral.

Day 234: Travel

I took a trip to the city today.

Day 233: Fever

We were checking if baby had a fever, so he decided to check if I had one as well.
