S had a rare day off, so we went over to Sticky Fingers for lunch.

Day 142: Chinatown

After a frustrating journey, A and I finally made it to Chinatown just to find out that the Chinese New Year parade was too crowded for us to see anything.  We did have fun at the Building Museum before we went home, so it wasn't a complete loss.  And A got to ride the Metro, which was a lot of fun.

Day 141: Cathedral

It was a beautifully clear day today, so A and I walked over to the Cathedral for some fresh air.

I bought two new calendars in London, so I needed to put up the one I already had.  I finally put this one up above my desk.

Day 122: DC on a Sunday afternoon

S was sleeping all day, so A and I took a trip to the museum and on the way back to the car, we stopped off to do a little exploring.

Baby and I took a walk to the park this afternoon.  The weather is so warm that he was able to wear his lighter coat.

Day 118: Cool

Living in the District is actually kind of cool when you get to drive right past the monuments on your way back from a business meeting. I have been lucky to live and work very close to many amazing sites.

We took A to the National Building Museum today because I'd read that they have a nice exhibit for little ones.  It's true: A loved the hour we spent in the Building Zone.  He played and played with all of the toys and really loved this little house...it even had a whole furniture set just his size.
